Na madrugada de quinta feira,o Avalanche recebe o New York Islanders no Pepsi Center.Um encontro de 2 Center Novatos que foram separados pelo Scout por apenas 1 Posição.John Tavares o 1ºst pick do Draft de 2009 e Matt Duchene,3ºrd Pick do Draft de 2009,separados apenas por Victor Hedman que é Defenseman.Será um jogo duro,especialmente pelo fator Tavares.
O'Reilly foi o unico novato do Avalanche que jogou contra Tavares. Temos que ter cuidado com Tavares afirma Ryan :
“Last year we met his team in the playoffs and at home I was matched up with him,” said O’Reilly. “I’ve played against him for quite a while now. He’s a great player and we definitely have to be aware when he’s on the ice. It should be fun to play against another young guy.”
